Local modes

Format and local Rewrite process text in the extension. Drafts, saved drafts, scheduled platform drafts, and brand voice settings are stored in the browser profile on your device. If you leave auto-publishing off, scheduled drafts only trigger a local Chrome reminder. If you enable auto-publishing for a schedule, the selected post text is sent to the VibeShift API and the authorized platform account at the due time.

AI Rewrite

AI Rewrite is optional. When you select it and run a shift, the source text and selected audience, tone, and goal are sent to the VibeShift API, then to the configured AI provider to generate a rewrite. Depending on server configuration, that provider may be OpenAI or OpenRouter; OpenRouter forwards requests to the selected model provider. Each provider and model provider handles data under its own terms and privacy practices, and retention may vary. The VibeShift API verifies a paid plan for the main extension or a private tester code for Alpha, applies request limits, and does not intentionally store the prompt or output.

Do not submit sensitive, confidential, or regulated information. Review generated text for accuracy before using it. AI output can be incorrect and is not fact-checked.

Connected social accounts

You can connect LinkedIn, X, or Instagram by signing in with that provider and authorizing VibeShift; no VibeShift account is required. Provider OAuth tokens are encrypted by the VibeShift API and stored in Turso, associated with a random key for this browser installation. The extension stores that installation key locally. Disconnecting in VibeShift deletes its stored connection, but you may also need to revoke VibeShift from the provider's app or security settings. Automatic publishing requires the provider's app access and permissions to be approved. Instagram publishing additionally requires an eligible professional account and public media URL.

Selection and payments

When you choose Grab selection, the extension reads highlighted text from the active tab after your action. Payments and card details are handled by Stripe; Demon Studios receives checkout and entitlement information needed to manage access, not your full card number.

Demon Studios website analytics

The studio website uses Vercel Web Analytics for aggregated page views and fixed interaction events, such as a project inquiry being prepared or a business-card link being copied. Analytics may process page paths, referrers, event times, approximate region, and device/browser categories. Our custom events use fixed names only; they never include names, email addresses, budget selections, or message text. Vercel states that Web Analytics uses no third-party cookies and a short-lived hashed visitor identifier that is discarded after 24 hours. Query strings are removed from tracked page URLs. The project inquiry form opens a draft in your email application; it does not submit your form fields to the website. You can disable website analytics in this browser here:

Control and contact

You can avoid cloud processing by keeping Format or Rewrite selected. You can delete saved drafts in the extension or remove the extension to clear its local data. For privacy questions, email cascianotaylor@gmail.com.
